2025 Jeep Wagoneer

We have really loved the wagoneer. I score lower for second and third row comfort because the air vents are small and not over head. Can be annoying for rear facing kids especially. The technology feels up to date but the screen has had glitches and things sometimes act strange but restarting the car usually fixes the problem. I have running boards the come down when the door opens and so far those haven’t given me problems. The captains chairs are a win for me but if I ever need an 8th seat that will be a bummer. .

Although I’ve had some issues with the tech, overall my experience with the Grand Wagoneer has been great. I love the size, it’s easy to access the 3rd row, and everyone fits comfortably in both the 2nd and 3rd rows. I don’t have kids in car seats anymore but have had plenty of carloads of teenagers with all of their sports gear and have not had any issues with space. I love all of the features the vehicle has to offer and feel it’s a very safe car to drive. I know the Wagoneer doesn’t always get the best reviews but I’ve been very happy with it.

I owned the Series 3 2022 Jeep Wagoneer for almost five years. It drove really nice. The technology features were what you’d expect for a car at this price point. The car had plenty of space. Even the third row was very comfortable for both kids and adults. Cargo in the back, fine. I had two car seats at all times in the car, passengers were able to get around them to access other seats. However, I do not recommend this car because the technology regularly failed, and I ultimately traded it in because the car died in the middle of driving it and I was stuck in the road with my family. It was not battery related. The issue was under warranty, and the dealership fixed it, but I no longer felt safe driving it. Apparently this is an issue with the Wagoneers. The memory seats were regularly deleted, the heated seats turned off after 5 minutes, there are no ceiling vents in the 2 & 3 rows, the tailgate sensor for hands free never worked, just tons of inconveniences. I would go for something else if you can. We just traded this car in for the Lincoln Navigator L and so far, so good.

Absolutely love this car. The seats feel amazing. Love the heat and ventilated seats. Drive is nice. I would love to see ceiling vents in the rear middle row instead of along the side by the door especially for my rear facing child. Will get another after my lease is up.

I absolutely love my Wagoneer. When I bought in 2022 the buzz on the street was the car had a lot of issues. However the bang for your buck (and for expeditions being scarce at the time) led me to ignore the talk and go with my gut. She has been an incredible car for our family. No major car issues and has performed so well. Better gas mileage than some of her full size counterparts! The cup holder selection is a 100% found lacking in both the driver and 2nd row but you learn to live like the pioneers and make do with 2. For moms with rear facing kiddos, the car does take a while to cool down in summer. I’m in Arkansas and summers are brutal… but you learn to utilize remote start and just make do. No one died, it was fine just warm sometimes. The features of the car def feel more in the luxe category. Now pro tip… I can’t say 100% with the new model line up… but in 2022 if you bought any model but the base with the packages added on. You were robbed. Do your homework on the features that you get when going up in model types. And then what YOU ACTUALLY WANT. It was cheaper at the time to get the base model AND then add the premium package. You could pay a few thousand more for the next trim level and you got like 2 random features like you could see the speed limit on your dash. Just something to be aware of!!

We rented this car for three weeks on vacation and loved it. It easily fit our three kids in car seats and all our luggage. It was great when we met up with extended family because aunt and grandparents could all fit in our car with us! Even the third row was spacious. My only complaint is that the power EVERYTHING and automated everything seems unsafe! The trunk start closing on me when I was changing my child’s diaper because it detected my movement as the foot movement that shuts trunk. The buttons to fold up the seats are also too accessible to kids and gave us a couple of scares.

I have a bench Series III. A few things that I wish were better: the cup holder situation is trash. There are only two in the console and one on the door. The second row cup holders are in the middle bench, so if I have a coffee and a drink, if one more item comes to me as the driver, I’m screwed. The infotainment is glitchy to say the least and thankfully Jeep has made some improvements but without CarPlay I’d be lost. It’s a wide car and I’m only 5’4” so it can be hard to reach things while I’m driving in the passenger seat or second row. I don’t love the plastic interior trim but that’s just a weird Jeep thing. Things I love: I upgraded from a Subaru Ascent and appreciate the size of the Wagoneer. With three kids and two dogs, we travel easily. Daily I leave the third row down but it’s so simple to push a button and use the car seat tilt to get back there. It’s easy to drive, back in, park, and I drive it into the city and park in a deck regularly. I wish it had a front camera like my Subaru did, but backing in is my go to now. Overall we have had tech issues on and off since owning it (CarPlay, settings reset regularly, sensors not working, etc.). I don’t plan to repurchase. I’m eager to get a better cup holder set up for everyone and have more reliability tech wise.

Love how spacious this car is! I have a bench and can comfortably sit 3 car seats across. I wish they had ceiling vents for the kids though.
