Car Mom Review

The Exterior

From the outside, you’d be hard-pressed to tell the 2025 Odyssey apart from last year’s model. The redesigned grille and wheels give it a slightly fresher look, but it’s nothing groundbreaking. If you’re hoping for a bold new design or significant changes, this isn’t the year for that.

Honda gave the Odyssey a HUGE redesign in 2017 and while we see refreshes when a new calendar year starts, you can expect the same solid family car from 2017 on (just with a few cosmetic tweaks depending on the specific year). For those interested in the Odyssey, this is a car I highly recommend shopping the pre-owned market for. You get all the incredible offerings it has for families, but at a more affordable price.

This is the best vehicle I've owned so far. I never thought I would drive an EV, especially as a busy mom. It's actually infinitely easier living the EV life. This van is amazing. It is very European in its styling, which means sadly, less cup holders. My only complaints are: lacking cup holders and the range isn't the best it could be. That's it. Otherwise, this thing is amazing. I purchased the First Edition and I couldn't be happier. It maneuvers like a sedan with all of the space and comfort of a mini van. Let's talk mom friendly features: -massaging seats and climate controlled seats -window control for the back and locks/sliding door buttons within mom's reach. -it's a mini van so to speak, but it's not a drag. It's fun, it's cute and I don't feel like I've given up. -charging is quick and easy from my experience. I do own a level 2 charger at home which makes it even better. - I love the trunk shelf. The pull out drawers are so fun and I keep my Tesla adapter and odds and ends in there. I can fit a single or double stroller sideways in the trunk. My W4 wagon fits if I fold down one rear seat. I can probably fit it on its side without the rear seat but I haven't tried. -car seat installation is a breeze. The inner clips are higher for easy plug in for car bases. - The legroom can't be beat. It has more legroom in the back than my Wagoneer had. Full adults fit with lots of room in each row. -I recommend the bench seat, so that you have more trunk space if needed. I've driven this thing everywhere. It's excellent. While the range could be better, I stop no more than I would normally because- kids. The EV phobia people tend to have is unfounded. This vehicle has more safety features and performs higher than the competition gas mini vans across the board.
