I have liked my Pacifica way more than I thought I would! When we bought it, we were really in the market for a Honda Odyssey, but getting our hands on one with less than 100,000 miles in our budget was difficult. Even though we had heard some bad reviews on the Pacifica, we took a chance.
Driving it is such a comfortable, luxurious experience. We have the Limited trim, which has heated and ventilated leather seats. It drives so smoothly, and the engine packs a punch to it when you need to pull out quickly!
The headrests are not great. They tilt forward way too far and I don't like the way they feel. Some say this messes up car seats- we haven't run into that problem.
My biggest complaint about it is anything electrical. The screen often freezes or glitches. My husband has an iPhone and I have an Android, so when it switches between Car Play and Android Auto, it often lags or has glitches. There is an issue with ours where the side door button doesn't work to open or close, so you must pull the handle. While this is fine now, my then 3-year-old couldn't open the door herself. On this same side, the passenger door doesn't sense the key to unlock it. It's like that whole side has some kind of electrical issue. We bought it this way unknowingly.
Something that surprised me- the sliding doors will not stop for anything! My 5 year old got her finger stuck in the door. It was very traumatic!
We also ran into the auxiliary battery dying at about 70,000 miles. We had no idea anything was wrong except the car smelled so bad! Unfortunately this going wrong caused the main battery to die as well, and it was about $1,000 to replace both. Also, Chrysler added one little piece of plastic over the battery, so if you take it to an auto parts store, they are not allowed to replace your battery for you.
The exterior looks great, however I would beware that the plate over the front sensor may come off easily as it is just flimsy plastic- ours fell off.
