I purchased the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq roughly nine months ago after owning a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid for four years. It's the longest electric SUV besides the IQ and Hummer. I was ready to go full electric, and there are no words to explain how thrilled I am to never get gas again here in steaming hot Texas. We have a level 2 charger at home but it is darn near impossible to run out of charge with how much information it gives you about charging on the go.
Pros:
Car is extremely responsive, fast, and quiet which were my priorities. I get to the car rider line early and watch Youtube or listen to podcasts on the screen. Screens are all low, and I'm able to see well even with my short torso. I have Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, YouTube, Google Maps, and Gemini. I actually love that it doesn't have Apply CarPlay because everything is separate from my phone.
Seats are comfortable and offer AC, heating, and massage (though pretty weak). The almost white leather is very easy to keep clean. I love the captain's chairs and how easy it is to get the third row. We have it down all the time, and there is ample storage, though obviously not as much as my minivan. My husband has a Lincoln Navigator if we need more space that day.
Controls are mostly on the screens, and the one for air is separate. You can change the direction and speed of the air flow manually unlike some electric SUVs. I prefer manually.
Cons:
The silver trim on the dash can create a reflection on the windshield that bothers many people. The dash is also black in front of the passenger seat, and my husband says it's really hot. Related to temperature, the AC takes a while get where it needs to be if you park in the sun. It may just be that Texas is too hot though. The storage space in the center control is quite small, and finally, I wish the second row had cup holders more accessible to my son who is in the Nuna Aace. The Nuna Rava fits nicely as well.
