2027 BMW X7

Used my mom’s X7 for a couple weeks while visiting. Wasn’t my favorite for fitting four children in car seats. The third tow is tight! Also behind the third row was not big enough for my Bombi Bebee double stroller (which does fit behind the third row of my GLS). It had a bench and fit three across since I have narrow seats from doing three across in my own vehicle. My oldest FF in the third row had her knees almost touching the 2nd row seat back though and I couldn’t fit a RF back there either. I’d say this car works for 3 kids max.

Just bought the car in May but love it so far and it is so fun to drive! Only have two booster seats so they fit just fine in second row and have lots of room in third row for extra adults or kids.

I absolutely adore this car! It drives smoothly and is easy to park. The second row offers ample legroom, accommodating my tall husband with a rear-facing car seat installed behind it. However, the only downside I’ve encountered is that getting a third car seat into the car can be quite challenging.

I’m Obsessed! Went from a minivan to this and I can’t say enough good things! I will say my kids are old enough that they don’t eat in it unless we are on road trips so it stays cleaner than my minivan did. Also, I don’t use the 3rd row daily, and I would hesitate to put an adult back there… but hey, if I need it, it’s there!

We purchased the X7 shortly after my son was born and love it! This came off the heels of having VW buy back a Covid lemon car and jumping into a Jeep Grand Cherokee L lease since there was very limited supply of cars to choose from. My husband has exclusively driven BMWs and we decided to go back to something he would be able to fix if something went wrong. The ride is amazing, the cabin is quiet and I love all of the comfort features! The space between the driver/passenger and the second row is incredible. The third row is hard to get in and out of and the controls are confusing but we keep the seats down 99% of the time and use it for the trunk space. We have a 5 month old and a 3 year old and don’t plan to have any more. Our 3 year old is in the Nuna Revv rotating seat and 5 month old is in the Nuna pipa infant seat. It is very tight to sit in the middle of the two seats but doable. Traveling can be difficult to fit everything we need and have debated on getting a roof rack, but I love it for every day driving. It is big and roomy but doesn’t feel like I’m driving a bus around. All in all I would purchase again and love this car!

I love the look and drive of this car. It has to be one of the best looking mid/full size SUV on the market. The drive is very comfortable although less sporty than other BMW models. Where I have the most concern is longevity for my growing family. We currently have a 22 month old and will have another one in a couple of months. Right now the car is working great with 1 rear facing car seat (Nuna Revv) and 1 dog car seat however once we add an infant seat there will be very little room and likely will barely be able to fit our dog in the middle seat given how small they made the middle seat. We already know once we add a 3rd we will need to switch to one of the larger full size SUVs but until then I’m going to enjoy the comfort that this car provides.

I opted for a bench vs capt chairs w only 2 kids…the middle counsel folds down for family trips that gives them each additional storage space and cup holders. Third row is only 2 seats but we use only for carpooling Con- seats are automatic only which can be slow and annoying Pro- good trunk space, love the small flip that keeps groceries in place when opening hatch, ceiling vents and heated/ac in 2nd row along w driver and passenger With growing girls this checked all my boxes while also giving me sleek and sporty
