2026 Toyota Tundra

My Dad has had a 23 and 24 crew Cab Tundra. I’ve borrowed them for a couple weeks at a time for road trips and when my car was out of commission. It’s really nice to drive and sits up off the ground nicely. I do find the windshield a bit short. Visibility is fine but it is noticeable from other windshields. Ya the time of driving I had one child in a rear facing car seat. The anchors were a bit hard to get too with a hook latch but would be easier if you had the way click latches. Legroom in the front and back was not an issue at all. The truck was comfy to drive and as a passenger. I’m used to driving large vehicles and I found it’s easy to drive and park, especially with the back up camera. I carry a stroller with me all the time so the one thing I would do if I drove it full time was add a tonnel cover to the bed for security. That would keep my stroller safe and protected as well as any other cargo. Our truck already had steps installed which I would also recommend for easier access especially if on the shorter side. I used the steps to stand on to buckle car seats and I would have trouble otherwise. If I could afford a truck I would happily drive this as my Dailey driver! One thing worth noting is the size of the bed. I believe it’s 5 or 5.5ft long which is average for a half ton truck but can be small. If you need a larger box you will have to go for the same tend box option.

My husband (and I, when I have no other option) drives a 2023 Tundra Limited. The color Lunar Rock is so unique, he drove 6 hours to get the truck. He absolutely loves it. For me, it's just too big and doesn't have great visibility (though the 360 camera helps). We can easily fit two carseats (first two Graco Extend2Fits and now two Graco high-back boosters) and a preteen together in the second row. The seats are super wide and comfortable throughout the truck. If you want a giant center console, this is the vehicle for you. I think I could fit a kid in there! My main issue with it is the short truck bed. My husband further disabled it by putting in a DECK system that makes the bed now short and shallow. We were able to fit more in my mid-sized SUV than in his truck, but whatever. If you're regularly hauling boards or anything with length, I wouldn't go with this truck. If you're hauling a family, it's great! It being pretty helps, too ;)

Best half ton truck on the market I have driven many of them and this one takes the cake. Perfect for the busy dad that has work to do and kids to haul but doesn’t need the heavy hauling capabilities of a heavy truck. That being said it still pulls 11,500 pounds. Great truck despite some of the negative publicity surrounding the need engine models. The tundra reputation is still alive and well

We just upgraded from a Tacoma to a Tundra for a few reasons, but one being able to fit three car seats. It was a breeze to install the seats! There is so much room. It is a very comfortable truck and way smoother than the Tacoma. Honestly the biggest complaint we have so far is that the arm rests in the center console aren't comfortable.

Overall incredible car for kids, there is so much space in the second row. I do find the tether anchors a bit annoying to get to in order to install forward facing car seats since you have to tip the seat forward to access the tether anchor. The turning radius is terrible so I hate parking it or driving in any small roads/areas, but the interior is so comfy for the kids, it’s pretty worth the space. We used to have an f-150 and I’d say space is about the same, just harder install for FF.

Our tundra has more clearance for rear facing carseats compared to our sienna! Only downfall is the vents‐ but we usually remote start out vehicle to cool down the backseat in the summer. Perfect for Dad (& Mom), and fun to drive. Plenty of space to sit between two carseats for longer trips. Has some storage under the back bench seat. Great tech up front. We purchased for towing capacity and space for carseats and camping trips. We love our Tundra!

We have the extended cab and it can comfortably fit 3 teenagers. It’s my husband’s primary car - but we all love to ride in it! For a big, 4 wheel drive truck- it’s an incredibly smooth ride!
