Three across all forward facing works well. We had plenty of room for 3 Graco Slimfit3LX seats so I tried three Graco Tranzitions (they’re wider). They fit, although the cupholders smushed a little for the center seat but drinks do still fot. Trunk space is amazing the center console needs more space for everythingg, if you have two drinks in the only cup holders you can’t access any of the storage space or phone charger spot. I actually prefer this car with the three across the bench and more trunk space than I do my 2025 Telluride with Captain’s seats (have to have one child in the back and one in each captain’s seat because the lack of a tether anchor on the right side third row position).

I have the X5 xDrive50e, which is the plug-in hybrid and I love it so much. I can get where I’m going everyday using Electric only, which is great with gas prices being so high; the cost to charge at home is minimal. It’s so fun to drive and handles very well. She’s also absolutely stunning, inside and out. The trunk has plenty of room for what I need and of course the split tailgate is perfection. The 2nd row is a tighter squeeze than my old Audi Q7 but we make it work and my 7 year old can maneuver just fine at school drop-off. I also love the soft close door feature, so there’s less worry about fingers getting caught. My only complaint is the infotainment system. The screen is almost too big where you can’t use the touchscreen closer to the passenger side without leaning over. I’m also not a fan of using the touchscreen for climate control settings. Infotainment screen aside, I could go on about the rest of the amazing features I love but would run out of room! This is the perfect mom car for me in this stage.

Downsized from having full sizes SUVs after sending 1 to college and 1 with a license. I have loved the size and maneuverability. Still fits our family comfortably for road trips when necessary with enough trunk space for luggage. Love the split tailgate.

I do love my X5, but I wish the 2nd row was larger and that there were ceiling vents. At one point I had 2 rear facing children and there is not enough airflow to the back and they tended to get very warm in the hotter months. I also wish the back seat was larger. Our rear facing seat pretty much backs up to our drivers seat with two average sized adults. Other than those two issues, I love our X5.

I test drove the hybrid that has 35 miles of electric distance. This car is so comfortable and very powerful. I absolutely loved it and actually considered downsizing from my 23 pilot but I am just not ready to give up that extra 3rd row yet. Maybe when my kids are older. I also like the 27 body style more I think. If anyone likes the older body style I know BMW is having some great deals with the 26 models.
