2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

Great for 3 across. Decent for Rigid Latches. Trunk space is really nice. Leave my double and single stroller back there on the regular and have room for groceries. Cup holders on the doors are very helpful.

If you are looking for the cargo space of a "larger" midsize SUV but do not need the 3rd row, this car is for you! I had my eye on the Atlas but didn't need the 3rd row and didn't want to pay for something I was never going to use. But I really wanted more truck space- insert the sister to the Atlas- the Atlas Cross Sport. She is sporty, sexy and is a total hot mom car! I get so many compliments on this car. I love the way it drives, feels and carry's my family. It feels luxury without the price tag. I purchased the R-line which is the highest trim and I have zero regrets. For car seats, there are no lower anchors in the middle row but its been fine for our booster years, we just use the seatbelt. The 2nd row is spacious enough for adults and kids in car seats to ride together. The winner is the truck, I love everything about this car and would 100% recommend to other moms.

We bought the Atlas Cross Sport because of its second row space and capabilities. We were upgrading from a 2015 Jeep Renegade, that was NOT car seat friendly. My husband and I are both 6ft+ and we both are able to sit comfortably in the driver and passenger seats with a car seat installed behind the seat. Specifically our infant seat (Maxi Cosi Mico+) is quite long, but we were able to sit comfortably in the front seat with this seat installed with the base. We have no issue rear facing with our two convertible seats - Britax Poplar S and Chicco Fit3X. We also can sit in comfortably in the back seat as adults, the headroom is a little tight as we are tall adults but it is not uncomfortable. I chose this over the regular Atlas - mostly for aesthetics, but we currently have no need for a third row and the trunk space is great. A couple of downsides: - This year model's tire sensors are lacking in functionality. When the low tire warning comes up, it does not tell you which tire nor does it give the psi. I did not know this before purchase, and kind of wish I had. - The tech is glitchy around cell phone towers. Very annoying in specific areas but not a huge inconvenience for us. - The gas milage with the V6 is not great.

The only negative I have is the blindspots caused by the exterior mirrors. They are hard to see around

I love this car! It has been perfect for 2 kids and occasionally adding a 3rd car seat. It is so spacious and every seat in the car is comfortable. I love how simple the tech is in the car and that it still has some buttons! Every now and then the screen gets a little glitchy, but when I restart the car it is always fine. This has been our main family car for 3 years and it has had no issues and has only had regular maintenance. Heads up, oil changes are expensive and so is doing any body work on the car (I dented the side, oops). I like the two rows for now, but I think I will eventually want an Atlas with a 3rd row. This has been a fantastic family car!

I loved the look and bulkiness of this vehicle. The second row bench was super wide and accommodating to two car seats. I was even able to fit in the middle between both car seats. However, the Interior felt cheaply made. The seat side buttons to adjust the passenger seat were constantly breaking. The seats aren’t as comfortable as other vehicles. And the mechanical and electrical aspect was a nightmare. The Apple car play was constantly crashing causing the radio screen to completely black out for days. My rotors were replaced on multiple occasions due to lack of quality in the material they are made from. Also not to mention the recalls took forever to get fixed due to lack of parts.

I am loving this car! I think the style and ride is great. Previously owned a 2015 Nissan rogue so this was quite the upgrade, but was a little behind on a few tech (Birds Eye cameras, automatic windshield wipers, etc) It is roomy, simple display, higher general tech, love the two tone leather, and massive trunk! I bought pre owned from my sister who leased it originally, only standard maintenance needed. Fits a nuna rava and mockingbird stroller great! Wish it had a few upgrades and likely would have bought a higher trim and AWD if I didn’t get it for a steal from my sister. No ceiling vents and tiny backseat vents.
