Good space, I have two kids in car seats and it handles it well. Second row head room is not the best but to me that's not really a matter of concern. The trunk is spacious and manages my day to day perfectly. But if you're the type of person that likes to bring the stroller to Costco, this car might not be for you. It feels very quick and sporty, and it definetly drives more like a sporty car over a big SUV. Very stylish and makes me feel cool!

The car is very comfortable inside and is a good size. Mine has a third row with power adjusted seats in the second row BUT that means that my second row outbound headrests are not removeable. This has been an issue for forward facing car seat installs/fit. I don't think many or any two row versions of this car have that feature/issue. The third row is not very spacious, I always keep it down. Overall I like it but it is expensive to maintain.

We rented this car as a Turo. It did the job, however I was not impressed with the space on the inside. We had 2 FF carseats and a lot of luggage. It worked, but everything felt snug.

I absolutely love the 2023 Mercedes GLE 450. It’s a great mix of luxury, comfort, and family practicality without feeling like a huge “mom car.” It’s easy to maneuver and park, the ride is incredibly smooth and quiet, and the 450 has plenty of power while still being comfortable for everyday driving. For two kids, I think it’s an amazing family SUV. The second row is roomy enough for two car seats without sacrificing too much front-seat space. For three kids, I’d definitely test your specific car-seat configuration first, since three across could get tight depending on the seats and ages of your kids. The cargo space is great for everyday family life. There’s plenty of room for a stroller plus groceries, diaper bags, sports gear, or luggage for a road trip. I also really appreciate the higher seating position and how easy it is to get kids and gear in and out. The interior feels high-end and comfortable, and I love the large screens and technology. There is a bit of a learning curve with the Mercedes system, and I wish there were a few more convenient storage spaces for all the little things you accumulate with kids. Overall, I’d highly recommend the GLE 450 for a family with 2–3 kids who wants a practical SUV but isn’t ready to give up luxury or a fun driving experience.

I absolutely love my 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLE! This vehicle is the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and performance. It’s fast, fun to drive, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. The ambient lighting inside is one of my favorite features. It makes the entire vehicle feel so luxurious, especially at night! The seats are incredibly comfortable, and everything about the interior feels high-end. It’s definitely a vehicle that makes you excited to get behind the wheel. Although, I will admit, it’s so nice inside that I’m almost afraid to eat in it! One feature I really wish it had is the walk-away automatic door lock that my Honda Pilot has. I love being able to walk away from my Pilot and know the doors will automatically lock. It’s such a convenient feature, and I’m surprised my Mercedes doesn’t have it. Overall, I absolutely love this vehicle. It’s luxurious, comfortable, fast, and just plain fun to drive. It’s the kind of car that makes even an ordinary trip to the grocery store feel like an experience!

This car has been great. I’ve had it for 5 years and there’s over 100,000 miles on it. My only complaint is that it is extremely expensive to maintain. 1500-5,000 dollars a year, depending on the mileage. My AC just went out and it cost 6500 to repair. Other than that, it’s been great for car seats (rear facing and forward facing.) I’m 5’10 and have been comfortable in every seat. My only other complaint? It does not have ceiling vents. It would be a great car for a family of 3 or 4.

I have the GLE 450 and it packs a punch. The panoramic sunroof and Burmester sounds system is fun for adults and toddlers alike. As a minimalist mom our little family travels well in the car and even with one more kiddo we could manage with the large trunk space. There’s also plenty of legroom in the second row for adults which other midsize SUV’s seem to be lacking. Always a fun ride and still nimble enough for those tight corners and city life.
