I love this car but I wish it was a hair bigger. The technology is great and this car really packs it in with all of the cameras and safety features. As far as comfort, I wish the center console could slide forward. I had that feature in my Honda and it made the driving experience more comfortable. The backseat is fine, but when yoy use a car seat, it is very tight. I have the Cybex Callisto on the passenger side and it causes me to have to move up the front passenger seat. Even the Evenflo slim you have to do the same thing. If you have people not in car seats it might be compact but not an issue. Overall I love the car and it's size but when it comes to fitting car seats, it is really tough for someone to sit in the front seats comfortably. Trunk space is fine. It looks bigger but once you put a decent stroller in, the size gets cut down dramatically.

Overall, this is a great vehicle. Nice driving height and wide windshield gives great visibility. Cupholders are nearly square. Rear seats are narrow. No problem with installing car seats for 2 kids, but booster seats beware! Most cover the buckles! Had to do a lot of returns but finally found Graco Turbobooster 2.0 LX does allow access to the buckle, but barely!

LOVE my car! It drives so smoothly and has amazing get up and go power for a Hybrid. This is my first time purchasing a Hybrid. My only complaint are the cup holders. The only decently sized cup holders are up front in the main console. The door cup holders barely hold a plastic water bottle. The rear cup holders are the same. A Stanley or Hydro Jug do not fit in the rear cup holders.

I have loved my 2025 Tucson Hybrid! My husband and I both have enjoyed the tech and the storage space in the front seats. The second row is a bit tight for our needs after adding a baby to the mix. We are both 5’11 and it is a tight (but doable) fit with our Chicco Fit360. We can squeeze a bit more leg room with a Nuna Rava and had no problem using our Clek Liing when baby was little.

I have loved this car for 2 kids! The trunk is pretty spacious in my opinion! We have an Evenflo revolve (not slim) and a Nuna pipa with base in our second seat and it is a very tight squeeze to get in the middle seat with both of those, but if you have a slim car seat that would probably be better! Have loved everything about this car with 2 kids except have had now 2 issues with fuel injectors which is why I rated it a 3 on reliability. From our research, this is an issue for others as well but there still is not a recall and we paid for replacements both times.

Overall this car is great. I have 3 big kids (17-22) and we have another larger car to take the whole family places. In general, I'm a big fan of the size of this car. Backseat is comfortable for adults and trunk space is good. Occasionally the lack of acceleration in the car is a problem and I really wish it had a little more giddy-up. The tech is fine but I absolutely HATE the wheel volume control. It's like you are spinning on the price is right each time you want to turn the volume down or up quickly. Otherwise, I think it's a great car for a smaller family.

I love this car. Hyundai includes so many tech features that others charge extra for. My only complaint is the engine isn't very powerful and I'd like it to get up and go better. I've used several boosters in the back with no issues. My kids are out of boosters now and have plenty of room in the car.

We have a 2021 Tucson and like it! I’ll get into why it isn’t perfect in a second. We like it for our family of four because it accommodates one rear facing and one front car seat just fine. I like that it has real buttons for air conditioning, radio, and stuff like that. It’s my first car with CarPlay and keyless entry and I can’t live without those things now. The trunk holds an UppaBaby stroller with a riding board and a medium-sized Costco haul if you’re strategic. We have had no mechanical issues with the car. Ok why it’s not perfect: our older son is quickly outgrowing having enough leg room and can now put his feet up on the driver’s seat and annoy the driver. He is in a Graco Tranzitions seat, probably not the best for giving more leg room. Our other son is in the Graco Turn2Me…another tight fit because giving clearance to the car seat results in the front passenger having limited leg room. The only a/c vent in the second row is at knee level in the center- not good a/c back there, and we need it year-round. Because we have bulky car seats no one can sit in the middle seat, however I’m not sure even the slimmest seats would allow someone to fit safely. I would still recommend this car for two kids! Stroller pictured in the trunk is a Nuna Tavo.

We went for the hybrid limited and we’re really happy we spent the extra couple thousand for the premium trim. We feel extremely safe with all the safety features and cameras and feel like we are in a luxury vehicle without the price. We test drove the highest trim for a Honda hybrid crv and for more money, less bells and whistles, and loud carriage we are soooo happy we didn’t go with what was suggested as the number 1 mid-size SUV in our price range.

Our Tucson has been an amazing car for 2 kids! Love the large trunk space with bonus storage under the trunk floor. Car seats fit well in the back even with a tall husband. Good tech and safety features, even on the lower trims. We have the regular hybrid and love the great gas mileage!

We've owned this car just short of 3 years now, and with 2 kids we like it a lot. It is spacious enough for us, as we prefer more compact vehicles for our day to day use. Our kids have both been rear facing in the second row for 2+ years, and we recently moved our oldest forward facing. The Tucson has remained comfortable for our family in each of our uses, and the trunk holds our variation of strollers very well. We often take this vehicle for our large Costco hauls and the trunk space is optimal for that! Overall we enjoy the vehicle and how it drives and fit our family needs. We would recommend!

I leased this car and overall it was okay. The second row was tight and the air vents were only on the center console so a rear facing child in the summer in Florida was not ideal. Tech was okay, drive was okay. Overall a just an okay car.

While my overall rating isn't great because the technology wasn't there (it was a 2016 but it wouldn't let me go back that far), I would recommend this car to any Mom with 2 kids or less and on a budget! It took me almost 9 years...starting with no kids, to 1 kid and finally had to say goodbye when we welcomed our 3rd. It had plenty of trunk space and never any issues!

As a family of 3, only one kid - this works for us! We have a truck as our other vehicle and I am on the shorter side. This fits us well for daily use. Longer weekend trips we use the truck. This would also be a fantastic car for a teen driver. The tech is amazing and easy to use. Love having the bigger screen but still having buttons. Have had ZERO mechanical issues, very reliable.

Owned this car for 5+ years before needing to upgrade to a three-row SUV. Car was good for a first-time mom, was able to have one rear-facing car seat without issue. Trunk space was great, was able to transport all the baby-related items. Space got tricky when needing to use every seat. Reliability decreased significantly after the 5 year mark of ownership with various random failures including catalytic converter and needing oil topped off every 21 days.

This car can comfortably hold an infant seat and another passenger in the back seat. It’s a great car for a 4 person family, I don’t see how it would realistically work for a family of 5. The trunk can easily fit a stroller, but not tons of room for much else.

Rented this car for 5 days while in Vancouver. My 6 year old was in a Chicco backless booster behind driver seat and my 10 year old was in the middle, no car seat. I was sitting behind passenger seat. We all fit, but was super tight and uncomfortable. The buckle for the booster was not very easy to access, especially when my middle child was trying to buckle in the same location. Might work for 4 people max and infant car seats/convertibles that don't need daily access to the buckles. The interior was basic but sufficient for our purpose. Definitely wouldn't recommend for long term family car but short commutes and second car would be fine.

Works great for two kids. My double stroller fits in the trunk with room for other things. The front row leg room is a little tight with car seats. I would definitely get slim car seats. Also a little tight sitting between two car seats but that’s to be expected. We have the maxi cosí mico and the Chicco fif3x cleartex ultra slim all-in-one

My Tucson is a 2022, but I’m reviewing here on the 2020 since that model year isn’t up yet. I love the style of the Tucson and it has been great for us with one and two kids so far. Definitely not 3-across friendly, but if you want a sporty mid-sized SUV with good basic tech, the Tucson is your car!

This car was great till about 100k miles. We drove her from the east coast to Colorado. She (yes it was a she) did great on long road trips to California as well. We started having major issues once we hit 100k and we ended up trading her in once the resale value was the same as what it would’ve cost to fix her. I even had a mechanic tell me “these cars are great till about 100k miles and then it all goes downhill.” Overall it was fine but I wouldn’t choose it again for reliability. Aesthetically it was fine, and worked with two kids, but the trunk space was a bit squishy and the second row definitely wasn’t great with multiple children in car seats. I would go in a different direction if you’re planning on having more than two kids or large dogs!

Our Hyundai Tucson has been reliable. Even though it is six years old, the technology has held out well. We have the Ultimate trim and I love the extended sunroof and advanced features like blind spot monitoring. We had an Evenflo Revolve 360 slim behind the driver's side and a Chicco Keyfit 30 that we were able to seatbelt install in the middle seat, leaving behind the passenger seat open for an adult to sit comfortably. My 14 month old has now moved into the Revolve 360 and my 4 year old is in the Graco Tranzitions seat. Both are installed on the outer seats. We haven't tried to have an adult sit in the middle seat with this car seat combination, but it would be tight. I will say, the items we need to road trip with two kids fills up the trunk VERY fast. I wish the trunk was larger, but other than that, I am happy with the car!

I really like the experience I’ve had with this car with one child. We used the Evenflo shyft dualride infant car seat and are in the Evenflo revolve 360. I know neither of these are slim front to back but we did notice the lack of leg room for the front passenger with these behind. It would be uncomfortable with these behind the driver. The driving experience is great it has auto hold, cruise control, lane keep assist, car play, heated seats, push to start, etc which are all features I wanted when shopping. We have had several major issues with the engine/mechanics that required big fixes from the dealerships. All have been covered by warranty so far but it has been through three major issues all before hitting 100k miles so I can’t recommend for that reason.
