2025 GMC Terrain

I have always been a big fan of the terrain. I had one back in college and then purchased a new one once I graduated since I enjoyed the first one so much. This is such a great car that gets incredible gas mileage, but also feels spacious! It fit our hardest perfectly and was a great family car. We never had an issues the entire time we owned it. I would still be driving it if I didn't want something that sat a little higher up and had third row seating.

Great for 2 kids in car seats. Comfortable drive and has the option for AWD so it does pretty good in snow. The heated seats/steering wheel, back up camera, lane alerts and infotainment systems are great! Good trunk size. Can fit a double stroller with no problem and there still room for a cooler, chair and some other random items.

I bought a terrain as my first big girl purchase in 2018. We now have had our first child and though it is a great car, it’s been challenging with an infant car seat, stroller, and all the other things with a newborn! I feel like my car is always full even with the most minimal things. It does fit an infant car seat but the front passenger seat isn’t as comfortable and I found myself sitting in the back just for more leg room.

Great car! Sporty and a smooth ride. Random but the turn radius felt like one you get in a truck (LOL) so not great! BUT great cameras, safety, comfort features! Perfect for small families with only 1 or 2 kiddos. Plenty of trunk space since it’s only a two-row vehicle. We miss this car but we upgraded to something bigger as our family was growing! Will definitely go back to the Chevy/GMC brand later in the future!

My mom has a GMC Terrain and I have used it a few times. It’s a cute car and nice looking but very hard with two kids in car seats and in rear facing. Doesn’t give much room for any extra wiggle. There is a too tether on the back of the three seats in the second row but you can’t comfortably fit 3 across. Even just one in the middle seems like not a good car seat install. It’s a cute car though.

I wouldn’t recommend this car as a mom of 2 under 2. The backseat is so cramped with no room for a parent in between the car seats. The technology is really lacking. I’m not impressed and can feel an upgrade in my near future.

This small SUV works great for my child in a high back booster and a forward facing convertible car seat. My MIL drive it, and my kids always fit comfortably and there is plenty of room in the trunk for a stroller and bags when my kids visit her.

I absolutely love this car! I bought it brand new and am so happy with my purchase overall. I am a mom of 1 with a 6 year old, he was forward facing when I bought this car and is now in a high back booster. Occasionally, I have my niece with us, who has been both rear and forward facing. There is plenty of room when I have had 2 car seats in it. My car is the Denali trim which is so nice and chic! I love the look of the front grill and the nicer touches of the finishes in the car. And I absolutely adore the panoramic sunroof. I have heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel and rear heated seats. The tech is great, I mostly use Apple CarPlay but I have onstar and navigation built in, as well. The speakers are awesome (even if I’m only listening to ninja turtles or Mario theme music 50% of the time). And the safety features are incredible. There is lane assist, panoramic camera, assisted parking and tons of sensors all around. The trunk space can handle a pretty big Costco order and has extra storage in the bottom, too. I keep my son’s inflatable bed and a change of clothes (and my emergency roadside kit) in there in case we stay somewhere unexpectedly. This is a smaller SUV, obviously, and my husband is 6’2” and a former semi-professional football player so he is not a tiny man. He fits in the driver and passenger seat fine (even with car seats) but the backseat is not comfortable for him. There is no middle headrest in the back like most GMCs but it does not make a difference for my use, so far. I don’t frequently have more than 1-2 passengers. Overall, this is a great car for 1-2 kids, in my opinion!
