Features We Love

For 2024, the Infiniti QX80 saw minimal changes. The main update was the addition of a new Dark Chrome Appearance Package on the SENSORY trim, which adds updated exterior styling elements. It also continues to include INFINITI Premium Care, a maintenance program covering inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations for up to three years.

I know I have one child and literally any car will work! I love how the Infiniti QX80 feels smaller on the interior but I sit up higher and feel safer in a big SUV. I do wish the third row was a bench like the Nissan Armada offers but the CPO warranty on Infiniti keeps us going back (this is our second one to own). The tech is a little funky with two screens but I quickly got use to it and appreciate that I can have two different displays at a time. As a girl who is 5’9”-I can crawl to the second row if needed to buckle or assist my kiddo. I do wish I could lay down the 3rd row from the front seat without getting out but that’s trivial. I highly recommend looking into an Infiniti for their CPO warranty, especially if the customer service at your Infiniti dealer is 10/10 like mine!

This is the mom car that is taking over my area. It's personally not for me, but it is stunning and does the job for a lot of moms I personally know. This car has LOTS of head room in the cabin, nice tech, attention to detail, and a very luxury feel.

We purchased a pre-owned 2021 Infiniti QX80 last year with just 20,000 miles on it, and it has exceeded our expectations. The ride is incredibly smooth and comfortable, especially on longer trips, and the interior still feels luxurious and well-built. The V8 engine provides plenty of power, yet the vehicle remains surprisingly refined and quiet. We also appreciate the spacious seating, ample cargo room, and premium features that make every drive enjoyable. Even as a pre-owned vehicle, it felt practically new when we bought it, and it has been reliable and trouble-free. For anyone looking for a full-size luxury SUV with comfort, performance, and value, I would highly recommend the 2021 QX80. 2nd row seats can flip forward/flip open with a press of the button at the steering wheel. Making for smooth entrance for your kids and their friends when you're picking them up from practice.

QX80

This is the 3rd qx80 we have purchased. We bought it certified pre-owned and we love the extended warranty with the amount of miles we put on our cars. This car is very beautiful, has so many safety features and it so comfortable. We do among long distance drives and it is very comfortable especially compared to other large SUV rentals we have driven in the past. The only downside is now that my youngest is older and taller, he HATES long drives in the 3rd row. Lucky for him, we mostly only have 4 max in the car. It was great when he was younger (this is our third QX80). There is a lot of storage in the back - especially with the seats up. I can’t imagine buying any other car for our families needs - it has taken us on spring break vacations, countless hockey tournaments, and even a college move in.

QX80

As a mom of two kids who are both in forward facing car seats, I was skeptical about purchasing the QX80, but I wanted to try something different. I have been pleasantly surprised and am very happy with my decision. What ultimately swayed me toward the 2025 QX80 were the IIHS safety results and Top Safety Pick Plus designation. With two young kids riding in the second row every day, safety was one of the biggest factors in my decision. Performance is great. It has plenty of power, drives well for such a large SUV, and the gas mileage has been surprisingly good for a vehicle this size. Comfort is excellent in all three rows. We have two forward facing car seats in the second row with plenty of space, and adults can comfortably sit in the third row. It feels like a truly usable third row. My biggest complaint about the second row is the storage and cupholder console on the floor between the captain chairs. I would much rather have an open pass through and move those cupholders to the back of the front center console. I also wish the driver center console had an additional cupholder instead of the large dedicated phone charging slot. For everyday family use, another cupholder would be much more practical. Trunk space is not the best if you plan to use the third row all the time. For us, we primarily use the second row and keep the third row folded unless we need the extra seating, so the cargo space works well for our family. Overall, the QX80 has been a great family SUV. It is comfortable, spacious, powerful, and gets better gas mileage than I expected. There are a few interior design choices I would change, but the comfort, usable third row, performance, and especially the safety results made the QX80 the right choice for our family.

This is my second QX80, and I continue to love this car. It’s incredibly comfortable, very user-friendly, and drives like a dream. I had a Lincoln Navigator in between my two QX80s, and I honestly wish I had never switched. The QX80 blows the Navigator out of the water in my opinion. I’ve had zero issues with it so far, and it’s been a fantastic family car. My only two complaints are the gas mileage and the cargo space. I really wish the trunk were about a foot longer when the third row is up. With a family, that extra space would make a huge difference. Otherwise, I really have nothing negative to say. It’s comfortable, reliable, easy to drive, and has plenty of room for our family. There’s a reason I came back to the QX80!

I have had this car for 3 years with zero issues. I previously had a Ford Expedition that I loved, but it had multiple transmission related issues in less than a year. My local Ford dealership was not very helpful and I felt unsafe driving it with one small child and another on the way. After getting rid of the Expedition we landed in the used market and found that the used QX80s were affordable. I have two children now and they are rear facing in the Britax Poplar with plenty of room for the driver and passenger. On occasion my 4 year old is turned forward facing and put in the third row so a grandparent can sit on the second row. She has plenty of space and the third row vents are a huge bonus! I am 5’8” and I’ve traveled on the third multiple times and it’s very doable. My only complaint is I wish there was more than one tether anchor on the third row!

I love this car! We have two kids in rear-facing carseats. It was super important to me that an adult could sit comfortably in the middle seat with both car seats on either side. We drive to my in laws almost once a month and they are about two hours away. It is so helpful that my husband or I can sit in the back if needed. It is also common for us to have three adults in the car at one time and not needing to use the third row is great! I leave my double stroller in the trunk at all times and never have issues with trunk space. We do not need to use the third row very often, but it is nice to have the option when needed.

I love my car. I am on my 4th Infiniti qx80. I have very tall kids and I like a lot of space. I’m personally short and have no desire to drive an extended wheel base. Everyone has plenty of space in the car. My kids are so comfortable in every seat. I have captain chairs and have loved the set up for car seats and boosters. I highly recommend if you want luxury but don’t want to spend over $100k

We have loved the Infiniti. We moved from a Toyota Highlander which was so small and we never had enough space. That is never an issue in this car. The third row fits an actual human which is a major plus.

We borrowed my mother in law’s infinity to take my parents, brother and 2 kids to an adventure science center. The third row only had one seat with lower anchors so an adult had to sit in the back. The leg room was a joke and I’m 5’3”. The seats themselves were also very uncomfortable, even in the second row. The car itself drove very smooth and the tech was good. The truck space with the third row up barely fits a to-go container. Wouldn’t recommend as a family car.

This car is perfect if you have to haul pre teens/teens (and all their stuff)! It is tall family friendly (all of us are over 6’) and has one of the only 3rd rows that can fit teens long legs. It’s beautiful inside and out and looks good even with some wear on it. The downsides are reliability (we’ve had to put some extra money into it around the 75k mileage mark), and the captain chairs are not on tracks. But I’ll be keeping this beauty for at least another 5 years, because I have teens and college kids to haul around and they always talk about how comfortable and nice it is to ride in (own air vents and controls, charging ports in back and cup holders galore). If you have big teens with lots of friends, I highly recommend.

It is spacious inside and love the interior. Have the sensory model and love the quilted seats. We have captains chairs and are using two Evenflo revolve 360 extend car seats. Those really make the 3rd impossible for anyone to sit in. We did remove the center console, so we can at least access it if needed. We also bought a model specific floor mat to make the floor easier to clean and cover the metal brackets from removing the console. I’m disappointed in the model/price point that it doesn’t have a panoramic moon roof. It seems small for the size of car.

Great and spacious car for a family of 5 (often with extra kids in tow!). We have plenty room for all three kids + their stuff. My only complaint is we removed the center console in the second row for easy access to third row and now the kids hit their legs on the metal stakes. Wish it was fully removable!

Car seat set up was more difficult than I expected. Only one tether anchor in the third row. Overall spacious and nice interior. Had transmission failure right at 100,000 miles that was costly to repair
