As a mom to tweens, this was the perfect transition out of the minivan suv era. We no longer pay for gas but trips to the grocery and Costco are still possible. Three tweens fit in the back seat with little problem and I can pick up and go in about 3 seconds from 0-60. The frunk provides the added organization for sports moms and the option for cold drinks at the tailgate! The 2026 added cooled seats and with the right package all the bells and whistles you want, even some self driving capabilities.

Our family has really loved this car. This was our first electric car and there was a certain learning curve that came with it, but now I really hesitate to change it for a larger car. When we purchased this car, we had an 18 month old and three year old, both in rear facing car seats. Both my husband and I felt there was adequate space for the two car seats and had no issue with having enough room in the front seats. We now have a six year old in a booster and an almost five year old in a forward facing car seat. We're expecting our third and plan to figure out a three across setup since we love the car so much. The truck space is deep and can fit a double stroller, children's bicycles, etc. We use the frunk to hold skateboards and helmets.

Very fun to drive! More like a station wagon with how low it sits to the ground. It’s supposed to get 317 miles to the charge but it’s usually around 250-270miles. In the winter the mileage drops significantly per a charge. We have the cybex cloud t for our infant and it fits nicely in the seat with the latch.

Amazing Mustang for mom's! Very quick and fun, the back seat is much roomier than other cars. Our jogging stroller even fits in the trunk. Very nice to charge at home and not have to mess with stopping at a gas station. Very sporty looking and fun to drive. Comfy seats. The leg room could be a bit more in the back and the air controls could be buttons. The model I got did not have push button to open and close trunk. Works great for our rear facing 9 month old.

If you are looking for an electric car the Mach-E is great. It doesn't feel overly "techy" for all electric. The large center display works like a big ipad or iphone through car play so it is easy to navigate and direct. The car comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keep feeling somewhat like self driving while having your hands on the wheel still in control. The backseat has plenty of room for two car seats comfortably and my 6'5" husband can ride int he passenger seat with our Nuna Pipa Air R car seat directly behind him. We are transitioning to the Graco Extend 2Fit 3-1 car seat and this passenger seat set up still works! There would not be room for three standard car-seats across the back, however so for a family of anymore than two children, this is not ideal The trunk space is also great, we have a large Silver Cross Wave 3 Stroller (single to double) and it fits comfortably in the trunk with room on top of it, beneath it and some small space to the side. With the stroller there is not much room int he trunk for large items like a suitcase for a road trip but most compact SUV don't have this space either so I feel it is comparable. Without the stroller there is ample room - enough rom to lay a baby to change a diaper on the run as well! The battery life is approximately 150 miles in a New York winter (i would charge at home daily with a 220 V outlet and ford charger0, int he summer upwards of 260+ miles in range or more on a single charge. That said for busy families with young children, the electric car in general may not be ideal as the accessibility and ease of stopping to charge is not quite up to speed yet. With more charging stations being installed constantly the ability may increase. over time. The car over all is reliable, though Ford service has been less than great. I personally, may never buy a Ford car again because of this. The main issues have come from a small handful of safety recalls as it was a new car along with the sensor faults.

Love this car. It’s so pretty and so quick and fun. We had Mint Latch baseless infant car seat and it drove me a bit nuts trying to get the LATCH to click each time, the angle is weird, Kelly is spot on. We now have Evenflo Revolve360 Slim and it would be tight to have two others in back seat. Fun to drive and really fun for a family of 3 road trip!

This car is great for two kids, we’ve done infant and rear facing seats, two rear facing, and rear facing and forward facing. We always use the middle and one outboard seat so we can carry a third adult which we do regularly. Clek car seats so they are on the narrow side. We drove a 2026 Ford escape explorer for a month or so and for the same set up this car was much more usable.

We bought this car before we had children & it was perfect for no kids! We absolutely love it. It goes far on a single charge, is super comfy & has amazing get-up-and-go. Once we had kids, it’s become the single-use car (like if we are going somewhere without the kids) or if we are only taking 1 kid. This is mostly because we have large car seats and our other vehicle is just much more comfortable with car seats. The backseat isn’t tiny, but I wouldn’t call it roomy either. We originally bought it because we thought it would be like a small SUV, but it’s more like a car on the inside size-wise. Maintenance is easy considering it’s electric & we do overall really like having 1 gas car & 1 electric car!

Loooove this car. It was great with two slim car seats (Diono) for 2-6 year olds, but didn’t work with baby number 3 joining. Fun to drive, great tech
