I loved this car for one baby. The front had enough room for me (5’8”) & my husband (6’3”) to both have our seats in a comfortable position with a nuna pipa infant seat and then nuna rava. I got close to 22 mpg and feel like this car drove like a luxury vehicle and had great handling without the super high luxury price tag. The technology was OK, pretty basic, which I actually prefer. I find vehicles that have a lot of screens or tech to be distracting. I loved the console space and glove box storage. Also, a perk, the incredible seat back pockets in the second row. The trunk space was good for a double stroller, but not much else. When we went to put the second carseat in ahead of our second daughter being born, the car felt really cramped. If you have kids out of infant and RF seats, this is a GREAT car that will easily drive 100k+ miles. The backseat is lacking ceiling vents and sunshades and with tall drivers, this car can feel tight, but if you’re out of that life stage, I would 100% drive this car again!

I will start by saying I drive a lot for work and wanted something smaller/mid-size that got decent gas mileage, looked nice and was able to fit two rear-facing car seats with nice trunk space. I looked at a handful of makes/models, but decided that the RDX met most, if not all of my wants/needs. As a mom of 2 with both kiddos still rear-facing, I’m happy with this SUV! I have a Nuna Rava and Britax poplar S in the second row and feel they fit nice. I’m 5’3” for reference with the Britax behind the drivers seat - as the nuna is a bigger car seat. I love the trunk space as it allows for my Uppababy vista V2 (bigger double stroller) to fit back long ways allowing for extra room on the side. Does this have tons of room and ceiling vents? No .. but it’s still really functional. My husband drives a bigger vehicle - so we have the option of using his when needed, but ultimately this is a nice size for me and my kids! I don’t have many negative things to say but I will mention that you cannot lock it while the car is running (often times I will leave my car running with heat/air on at daycare pick up when I run inside to grab my kids so the car stays cool/warm before getting them. This is something I could do with my last vehicle. Is that a deal breaker? No, but something I wish I knew before purchasing. I know others complain about the Acura track pad (no touch screen) but I actually don’t mind this and found it easy to learn. Overall, I’m happy I went with this make/model and if a third kiddo is in the future I would highly consider the MDX - the bigger version of this car.

I absolutely love this car but do not recommend for 3 children. I have 2 forward facing car seats and an infant seat. It is TIGHT and barely fits safely. The mouse touch pad control takes getting used to but is more of an issue for passengers. Prior to my 3rd baby, I thought it was a great car (not the most trunk space) but now I am counting down the days until I can get something larger.

I purchased prior to having kids without anything in mind regarding kids/car seats. Overall, a great car, but my husband is 6’3 and would not fit comfortably in the front with a rear facing car seat behind him-second row legroom is lacking, especially with a big rotating car seat (we used the chicco fit 360). When we had a second kiddo we had to trade it in because two car seats in the back made it impossible for us to fit comfortably. Will also add that there are not ceiling vents! Could be a good car if you have forward facing or booster seats or if your driver/passengers are shorter (I fit ok and I am 5’2).

2 kids in car seats - 2.5 y/o behind passenger seat in a Baby Jogger City Turn rotating car seat and newborn behind driver seat in Nuna Pipa Rx on the base. For short drives if my husband or I have to we can squeeze uncomfortably between the car seats in the backseat. Trunk space can fit mockingbird double stroller with toddler seat and bassinet with a toddler balance bike and diaper bag. Overall I have loved this car but since having our 2nd baby this month I am excited my husband will be getting a 3 row SUV to allow us to have more space on longer drives.

I adore my Acura RDX. I’m a mom of 1 and I feel like it has plenty of room for my son and our big dogs in the trunk. We don’t have rear air vents but I enjoy my moon roof as a nice trade off. Reliable, sound and fun to drive!

I have had this vehicle since I purchased new in 2021. It has been very reliable and comfortable to drive. It has been a great first time mom car with 2 kids under 2. I do feel like it has great trunk space for its size and I can fit 2 car seats comfortably in the backseat. A smaller adult or child could also fit in the second row middle seat. It has pretty good amenities. I would definitely recommend.
