Features We Love

For 2023, the Infiniti QX80 saw a few smaller updates focused on convenience and ownership experience. The biggest addition was INFINITI Premium Care, which includes up to three years of maintenance like oil changes and inspections. It also added Amazon Alexa integration and haptic steering-wheel feedback for the lane departure warning system.

I have had this car for 3 years with zero issues. I previously had a Ford Expedition that I loved, but it had multiple transmission related issues in less than a year. My local Ford dealership was not very helpful and I felt unsafe driving it with one small child and another on the way. After getting rid of the Expedition we landed in the used market and found that the used QX80s were affordable. I have two children now and they are rear facing in the Britax Poplar with plenty of room for the driver and passenger. On occasion my 4 year old is turned forward facing and put in the third row so a grandparent can sit on the second row. She has plenty of space and the third row vents are a huge bonus! I am 5’8” and I’ve traveled on the third multiple times and it’s very doable. My only complaint is I wish there was more than one tether anchor on the third row!

I love this car! We have two kids in rear-facing carseats. It was super important to me that an adult could sit comfortably in the middle seat with both car seats on either side. We drive to my in laws almost once a month and they are about two hours away. It is so helpful that my husband or I can sit in the back if needed. It is also common for us to have three adults in the car at one time and not needing to use the third row is great! I leave my double stroller in the trunk at all times and never have issues with trunk space. We do not need to use the third row very often, but it is nice to have the option when needed.

I love my car. I am on my 4th Infiniti qx80. I have very tall kids and I like a lot of space. I’m personally short and have no desire to drive an extended wheel base. Everyone has plenty of space in the car. My kids are so comfortable in every seat. I have captain chairs and have loved the set up for car seats and boosters. I highly recommend if you want luxury but don’t want to spend over $100k

We have loved the Infiniti. We moved from a Toyota Highlander which was so small and we never had enough space. That is never an issue in this car. The third row fits an actual human which is a major plus.

We borrowed my mother in law’s infinity to take my parents, brother and 2 kids to an adventure science center. The third row only had one seat with lower anchors so an adult had to sit in the back. The leg room was a joke and I’m 5’3”. The seats themselves were also very uncomfortable, even in the second row. The car itself drove very smooth and the tech was good. The truck space with the third row up barely fits a to-go container. Wouldn’t recommend as a family car.

This car is perfect if you have to haul pre teens/teens (and all their stuff)! It is tall family friendly (all of us are over 6’) and has one of the only 3rd rows that can fit teens long legs. It’s beautiful inside and out and looks good even with some wear on it. The downsides are reliability (we’ve had to put some extra money into it around the 75k mileage mark), and the captain chairs are not on tracks. But I’ll be keeping this beauty for at least another 5 years, because I have teens and college kids to haul around and they always talk about how comfortable and nice it is to ride in (own air vents and controls, charging ports in back and cup holders galore). If you have big teens with lots of friends, I highly recommend.

It is spacious inside and love the interior. Have the sensory model and love the quilted seats. We have captains chairs and are using two Evenflo revolve 360 extend car seats. Those really make the 3rd impossible for anyone to sit in. We did remove the center console, so we can at least access it if needed. We also bought a model specific floor mat to make the floor easier to clean and cover the metal brackets from removing the console. I’m disappointed in the model/price point that it doesn’t have a panoramic moon roof. It seems small for the size of car.

Great and spacious car for a family of 5 (often with extra kids in tow!). We have plenty room for all three kids + their stuff. My only complaint is we removed the center console in the second row for easy access to third row and now the kids hit their legs on the metal stakes. Wish it was fully removable!

Car seat set up was more difficult than I expected. Only one tether anchor in the third row. Overall spacious and nice interior. Had transmission failure right at 100,000 miles that was costly to repair
