2023 Ford Escape

I have the lowest trim of the escape so it comes with very few bells and whistles. It’s been a fine car! We’ve only had to take it in to get fixed once in five years. We now have two kids and it’s definitely tight. It’s about to be paid off though, so we’re fine to make it work as long as possible! I get about 30-32 mpg and that’s including 2 hour trips on highways every couple weeks as well as small town city driving every day.

This car has had some minor issues come up over the years but has overall been reliable. Our family is certainly outgrowing it. We have been able to maintain 2 car seats but the space is tight with one car seat being a bit bulky and then affecting the space in the passenger seat ahead of it. I bought the car just prior to tech taking the next step with the larger screens etc so it’s definitely a bit lacking in that realm. It’s a pretty simple car, smaller on the SUV side so not suitable for more than 2 kids but overall would recommend although I think there’s better options out there.

Have loved this car from 0-2 kids over the years. Has been incredibly reliable with minimal issues, made it to 125k without a problem. Space has been our only issue now that we are 2 kids and a dog & drive 2+ hours 2-3x a month with everyone in the car. Have a uppababy mesa and a graco dlx 4ever with enough room in the front for my 6’0 husband to sit comfortably.
