I love this car for my husband and I so much but we have 3 kids, 7 and under, so it is not ideal for us to ride as a family in. We have only ever been able to fit 2 forward facing car seats in it. However, this is not our primary family car so it isn’t that big of a deal to us. It does have decent trunk space given the size of the car. We have the m40i so the drive is super sporty and smooth and the infotainment system is easy to navigate. I love this car so much I just don’t think I would choose it again for a larger family with young kids.

Very comfortable car but the backseat is not ideal for a rear facing car seat. We got a Graco slim fit car seat and my knees still had to be touching the dashboard with the RF car seat. I am 5’5. Also, sitting in the backseat with the car seat on the passenger was not comfortable either.

We owned this BMW before having children (ours is a 2017), and while it still gets the job done, it is definitely not rear facing car seat friendly. We currently have one rear facing and one forward facing child, and while both fit in a pinch, this is certainly not our main family vehicle. We typically only take one child in it when necessary. If both kids were forward facing, it would be a different story, but for our current season of life, it is not ideal. Otherwise, the technology is fine for a 2017 model. Ours is fairly base model as far as BMWs go, but it has performed well and has been a reliable car for us.

2016 BMW X3 (website will only let me select 2024 model year). Large convenient trunk space that can fit a lot from Costco and a larger stroller. Rear seats have a comfortable amount of room and fit larger carseats with no problems. Center console is smaller, but fits what I need it to. No ceiling vents and technology is not great, which are cons. Overall, this car has been very reliable and a great car for 0-2 kids. Dog can ride in the trunk for short trips when I need to travel somewhere with two children, the dog, and my husband.

The ride was smooth and the interior had a nice finish. The trunk and second row spaces seemed too tight for a car seat, stroller, and other family needs.

My MIL has this vehicle and has taken my kids multiple times for us to different things. My husband was able to install our EvenFlo Revolve 360 with no issues at all in her second row. My daughter had a great comfortable ride with ample legspace. The tech in this car is amazing, and as a passenger I love riding along in this car.
