Hubby has an M550 and although it’s fun to drive and be a passenger in, it requires a lot of car seat planning to ride comfortably. My hubby is 6’0” and sits far back, so there’s no way we were able to fit a rear facing car seat behind his seat. With our first we had a Chicco, and I had to push the passenger seat all the way forward in order to get it to fit. With our second, we got a Britax Poplar and there is significantly more room for the front passenger with this car seat. My son is now in a booster behind the driver, and let’s just say hubby has to keep wipes in his car 24/7 to wipe the footprints off of the back of his seat! Also to keep in mind- besides car seats- we’ve had constant transmission issues since hitting 60,000 miles. It has been in the shop more than it has been home in the past 3 months. Thankfully have an extended warranty program, and once that is up will be looking for a different vehicle.
