2022 Lincoln Aviator

I have the PHEV version of the Lincoln Aviator and love that I only need to fill up my tank once a month. It drives very smoothly, handles curves wells and has great pickup speed. My main complaints would be that the third row is very tight and wouldn’t be comfortable for daily use and there seems to be a lot of recalls on the car. It hasn’t been for anything major and Lincoln fixes it for free but I’ve probably had about 12 recalls in 3 years.

I absolutely LOVE my Lincoln Aviator! I feel like it's the perfect mom car if you want an SUV but not too big or difficult to drive. I like the luxurious look and feel but with a slightly better price tag. There is ample storage, the seats are all very comfortable (especially the massage seats!), and the technology was pretty easy to figure out. The 3rd row is quite small but we rarely use it and mostly keep it folded down for more trunk storage. Nice to know it's there when needed though because we have captains chairs for the second row. We have 1 rear facing rotating car seat (Evenflo Revolve 360) behind the passenger seat. I am 5'11" and it makes sitting in the passenger seat a bit tight but doable. We recently did a 4 hour drive and I was fine in the passenger seat. Before the Evenflo we had the Doona car seat and that fit great as well. No ceiling vents in the back but both the second and third row have their own climate control and we're able to make the cabin pretty cold. Sunshades on the windows are also a huge help. The Lincoln app is also a nice benefit as I remote start my car before leaving work in the summer months to cool it down. Overall I've been very impressed with the Aviator and hope to keep driving it for quite a while!

The Lincoln Nautilus is a very slept on car! I love my hybrid and I’ve owned it for over a year now. I drive in a ton of Atlanta traffic and I am averaging 31 mpg. The trunk is spacious, it fits my stroller easily with plenty of extra room. The back seats lay down pretty flat if extra room is needed. Middle back seat can’t be used for a car seat which is a negative for me and it’s pretty stiff so it gets uncomfortable after a while but otherwise it’s a very comfortable car and has great technology (very occasional glitches with maps or music). I use the Joie baseless car seat and that’s been super easy to get in and out. Would buy again!

We LOVE this car! Since it was a 2021 when we bought it (purchased in 2024), it was a few years old but the tech has held its value. Heated/cooled seats, Apple Car Play, massage seats, sun roof, and a lot of safety tech! Our car has a bench, which is really helpful. We have 2 toddlers who sit in the second row, they both use the Evenflo Revolve 360 car seats and are forward facing. The seats are a dark brown leather and have held up well with toddlers! We keep the third row down because we make regular road trips. My parents are 2 hours away so we drive to see them once a month. The driver and front passenger comfort was a big sell for us since we do a lot of road trips! I like a big car but didn’t want something TOO big (I drove a Jetta before this), so this model was a great pick. My favorite features are the spacious feel in the drivers seat, the Apple car play and the blind spot detectors (light up sensors on outer mirrors). The massage seats are a nice touch too! We purchased this car used for $35,000 which was a plus for us because it ended up being cheaper than a lot of minivans on the market that we saw. We live in California and see this model on the road a lot so there were plenty of used options. I love this car, I hope we drive it for years to come!

As a mom of two, I’ve really put my Lincoln Aviator to the test! We have one rear-facing car seat and one forward-facing car seat, and the bucket seats make getting the kids in and out so much easier. There’s plenty of room for the kids, and I love having the third row when we need the extra seating. My biggest complaint is that the cargo space is fairly small with the third row up. Once you have the third row in use, there isn’t a ton of room left for groceries, strollers, or all the things that come with having two kids. This is especially noticeable for us because we go to the lake often and have two dogs. Between the kids, dogs, lake gear, coolers, bags, and everything else we need to bring along, it can definitely feel like a game of Tetris! That being said, I absolutely love how the Aviator drives and how comfortable it is for everyday life. The bucket seats are a huge plus for our family, and having three rows gives us the flexibility we need. Overall, it’s been a great family SUV, but if you regularly travel with two kids, two dogs, and a lot of gear, I’d definitely consider the limited cargo space with the third row up before buying.
