2022 Jeep Compass

My biggest complaint with kids in car seats is that the back doors slant down so it can be hard to lean in or get a kid out of a car seat without hitting your/their head. The car play will randomly not connect and Ive had a handful of times where the car just wouldn’t start for a few hours. The back seat has more leg room than my husband’s SUV but the trade off is less trunk space. I can fit my uppababy vista in the back but it takes up almost my whole trunk. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this as a mom car.

I’ve owned for 7 years. It comfortably fit my husband and I with our son. We now have a tall almost 2yo and its front back space for his car seat is too small with a passenger in the front(we are 5”7”/6’). With two kids we upgraded to a Thule double stroller and it does fit in the trunk with the trunk bottom in the lowest setting and one wheel off. We will need to upgrade to a bigger car in the next year but it has been a great vehicle for us so far.

It’s a louder car when driving on high ways. It zips around quite nice when just getting around town. The trunk space is great for a family with 1-2 kids. It’s a smaller SUV so I think it will only fit 2 car seats.

Jeep compass Latitude has been a great mid size suv for our growing family. Bought it just married and now have two kids (one rear facing and one front facing) in the back seat. Trunk space is great. I can fit our double mockingbird stroller in the back. Also don’t sleep on alllll the space where the spare tire is 😝 extra clothes, diapers, wet wipes are there so we really maximize space. Only con is the screen is now going out (5 years later).

Was great before kids but way to small with kids

Rented this car for 5 days while in Alaska. My 6 year old was in a Chicco backless booster behind driver seat and my 10 year old was in the middle, no car seat. I was sitting behind passenger seat. Was super tight with 3 in the back and it was very hard to access the buckle for my 6 year old (we had to help him and we struggled a LOT). I cant imaging having 2 kids in carseats back there. Seats are narrow and the buckle placement would not be ideal. Worked for the short time we had to drive it but would not recommend for family car with small kids. The car overall was fine, though felt very light and drifty during long drives.
