This has been a great vehicle for our family. With two dogs and one teen, we use this vehicle for all our road trips. So much space and a much smoother ride than expected from a truck.

My husband drives the F-150 crew cab Lariat trim level. The back seat is so spacious with plenty of room to spare with my rear facing toddler's car seat. The seats are comfortable and the technology, including Blue Cruise, is great. The only downside I can find is that there are no ceiling vents.

As a mom of 2 this truck has been great. The SuperCrew Cab back seat easily fits 2 car seats on the out board seats while an adult can ride comfortably in the middle. There is a lot of room even with a rear facing car seat that my toddlers climb in under and around the rear facing seat to then get into their car seats. This bench also works great for three across the few times that I have had to do it. Excellent leg room in the front row (6ft tall husband) even with a rear facing seat behind the front row seat. The back seat floor board fits most grocery runs and the bed of the truck is great for the Costco hauls, stroller storage, and diaper changes. Great Mom car option for those that live rurally and need towing capacity.

As a mom of 2 I love my F-150! Plenty of room in the second row, comfortable seats, and all of the latest technology even being a 2021. We have about 93,000 miles on it now and have only had one thing wrong with it that ended up being on the recall list, so the ford dealership took care of that for us. I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone that needs a pickup but still has the comfort for 2 kids in car seats and moms that want all the technology and safety features.

The Ford F-150 is excellent for a family. For short trips 3 adults can fit in the back seat. For longer road trips, 2 adults in the back seat leaves enough room to enjoy the trip. Blue Cruise technology is convenient, although it would be nice to have without a paid subscription. As a family we have owned 3 Ford F-150s and have loved them through all stages of our family. From 2 forward facing car seats to grown kids, the F-150 has been a perfect family vehicle.

I've only owned THIS F150 for a few months but I owned one back when we only had our oldest as well. The back seat is HUGE. Plenty of space for car seats, plus tons of leg room. I went from a Ford Explorer to the F150 because we needed the space (aka the pick up bed). Plus, you can't beat all the tech features (with a Lariat at least). Tons of parking sensors, driving assist, adaptive cruise control. I LOVE my pickup! :)

We have the hybrid. Super spacious 2nd row. Driver is 6'2" and we have a pretty large rotating car seat (Baby Jogger City Turn) behind him with PLENTY of space in between the two. No issues and no services needed other than regular maintenance. Drives well, great for long car trips because of how spacious it is. Gas mileage is not great, but it is so nice to have!

This is a great car for our family of 4 + 1 dog! My husband is tall (6' 4") and is very comfortable with a forward-facing carseat behind him. We have a hard folding bed cover and have found that to be helpful when taking weekend trips to protect our bags while leaving plenty of space in the cab.

Second row space is best of any truck we’ve driven. It’s my husband’s daily driver, we fit two kids and the dog in the backseat no problem. Plenty of room for 3 across car seats, and amazing for storing luggage and a stroller and all the things in the bed. We often travel (2-3 hours one way) to visit family, and it’s extremely comfortable for road trips.

My husband had an F-150 before upgrading to an expedition and I was always surprised by how spacious and comfortable it was. For a full-size truck, it was incredibly easy to drive and didn’t feel as big or intimidating behind the wheel as I expected. The interior had plenty of room for the whole family and was comfortable even on longer drives. A great truck that was practical, roomy, and easy to drive!

The Ford F-150 isn't your typical "mom car", but it is a work truck for me. The cab is huge and the spacious back seat has lower anchors that are easy to access. It has a wide bench that easily fits 3 car seats across. There's much to be desired in terms of the tech in Fords, but the overall function and drive of this truck is awesome. I have a bed cover on it, making it extremely easy to fit everything my family would need. There are plenty of good sized cupholders as well. Some things that would make it better: window shades, ceiling vents and CarPlay that doesn't glitch when I drive by a radio tower. It checks all the other boxes for me for now though!

The Ford F-150 has been a great fit for our family of 5. The 2nd row comfort is unmatched. It makes 3-across easy, with room for mom or dad to climb in a buckle. The kids have a ton of space. The Ford F-150 has become our road-trip car! We love the entertainment system, luxury features and spaciousness.

We absolutely love this truck! We got it a bit spur of the moment (other truck totaled) and other than the payments we wish we did earlier. It fits our three across perfectly with room to spare (Graco transitions, Chicco Fit3x, and Chicco 360/Chicco KeyFit). My 6’3” with a bad back husband can scoot and recline his seat to his hearts content. It’s everything we wanted for road trips unlike the minivan. I can pass snacks and activities easily and have plenty of room for me. 10/10 from my point of view. I took off one star for performance because my husband said to. 😂 And half a start for interior because I don’t love some of the random slots in the center console. I just don’t know what they’re for.

We love our truck, it is our third F-150. The fact that the floor of back row is flat (unlike the GM pickups) is an absolute game changer! I don't like the tether anchors, I don't even know how to properly use them, thankfully we're passed that stage of car seats. The tech is great, the performance is great, and it's very comfortable to drive/ride in.

Our first F-150 was a 2009 King Ranch and the truck still ran beautifully 17 years later which speaks to reliability! We recently traded it in for a 2026 Lariat with the v8 engine and we ate so satisfied with the upgrade. The second row is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for the joie rue infant seat without impacting driver or front passenger comfort. There are so many great features including blue cruise, workspace desk, panoramic sun roof, lock box under the seats. There are plenty of cupholders and the cabin cools very well. We purchased a truck bed cover to increase storage space for things like the stroller so that our dog can ride in the cabin with us.

We traded in the truck for our expedition - but we loved the space. The kids could walk between the rear facing car seat and the front seats with ease. We had the crew cab. We loved it, but needed more seating for possible future kids, and I preferred more options for seating as the kids get older. We had the XLT, so interior design was mid at best. We had cloth, and that was a pain with kids - harder to clean.

Taking a moment to give some love to my husband's daily driver. This truck swallows car seats and bulky kids items like it's meant for it! We can easily fit 3 car seats across the back when we have our nephew with us. There's a ton of leg room and room for the kids to climb in and out. I can also easily access and sit in the middle seat between the two car seats if needed. You sit up high and have a great view of your surroundings. The front air vents are powerful and easily blow air into the back row. Ford added a ton of cameras and sensors to this truck making it much easier to park than our 2015 F-150 was. We added a waterproof topper to the bed and we easily haul our luggage back there when we go on vacation. Seriously more mom's should consider a truck!

My husband drives an F150 King Ranch. It is incredibly spacious and comfortable. We have two kids, one rear facing and one recently turned forward facing. We have Doona and Nuna Rava car seats. My husband is 6’ and there is plenty of room for him to sit comfortably even with rear facing car seat behind him. We often travel in his truck because it has so much room; however, you need a bed cover for all of the luggage and gear so that weather isn’t a factor. Highly recommend!

While our 2023 F150 is not our primary family car, it is still extremely functional when not transporting all 4 kids. The rear bench is very wide and adaptable to 3 car seats. Plenty of space between rear facing car seat and front seats. Kids (ages 4 and 7) are easily able to climb under to get to their seats. I really appreciate the buttons and knobs for climate control and overall like the infotainment system better than my 2023 Expedition with the iPad sized screen.

If you’re short, I found a rear facing car seat using lower anchors or seatbelt very difficult to install. Overall, we really love the truck for a family vehicle though!

We had a great experience with the Ford F-150 Platinum. It was comfortable, powerful, and incredibly capable while still being smooth and easy to drive every day. It was also surprisingly practical for our three kids, with one in an infant car seat and another in a booster. There was still enough room for everyone to ride comfortably. The Platinum trim added a great level of luxury and comfort, while the truck’s performance and capability made it extremely practical. Overall, it was a great combination of power, reliability, comfort, and luxury.

This is such a spacious backseat for 2 kids. I love it. Prior to driving an f-150, I had a ford explorer and it feels like I have much more room in the truck than I did in my 3 row suv. I got a cover for the pickup bed and it handles my grocery or Costco runs really well.

Our F-150 is a 2015, which my parents owned and now my husband and I own (it was bought new). It has been such a reliable pickup for my whole family. Both my sister and I drove it in college for a season, it functioned as a farm pickup for years, and now it is my husband's daily driver. Plus, it is a car seat machine. It easily has fit every seat we have tried in it, and I know it will fit across with whatever we throw at it! Plus, with the SuperCrew Cab, we have enough space for our dog on the floor on the pickup on long trips with the car seats (and she is comfortable and loves getting all the pets on drives with kids). Definitely a great family car/husband car!

We have a 2023 Powerboost. It’s great on gas and the second row has lots of space. The lack of second row ventilation is a downside but not a deal breaker. We have a topper on the back so you can load it up with the stroller, groceries, etc.

F-150 2012 (website will not let me enter this model year) This is my husband's car that we sometimes use with children. Ample space in the rear to fit three across comfortably or one adult with one to two car seats. Feels like we are in a living room when we ride in it! Obviously there is a lot of space in the truck bed. A convenient small feature is that there is a keypad to unlock it which is helpful when we bring it to a race / we need to access it and do not have a key.

Husband drives this car and what we exclusively use on long road trips. 2nd row is extremely spacious for our two car seats (Chicco booster and Evenflo revolve OR Nuna rava), but the interior lacks second row ceiling vents or even on the side vents…it is truly shocking that they cannot figure out how to add this. We bought the noodle device which helps air flow for rear facing kids but still, shouldn’t have to do this. Also technology has been finicky since we bought the car and have brought it back multiple times and they “update” it but still has weird glitches. The car itself drives great and is very safe, no engine issues (knock on wood).

My husband has an F150 - we have three kiddos 5y and under, so 3 across and we have more than plenty of space for really any car seat combo (including doona). While I’m not a huge truck girl, and the 2021 is lacking some tech, my husband loves this truck and I feel good knowing my kids are safe in it.

My Father has only ever owned multiple Ford F-150’s for the span of my life. I have driven them plenty of times. They drive great. Very spacious in the front and second row. The infotainment is basic. The third row fits my kids 3 car seats just fine with plenty of foot room and storage to pack bags, groceries etc.

This is my husbands car but it's a great family hauler! Tech is great, super comfortable, and obviously great handling. It's long but doesn't feel overly hard to drive or maneuver. One thing to note: my husband has the cloth interior and it is so durable! This is the second F-150 he's had with it and I'm always shocked by how well it cleans up and our kids aren't exactly easy on it.

THE ULTIMATE MOM CAR!! We love this truck & are sooo happy we bought it. You know you like the vehicle when you don’t hate making the payment every month. Sooo much room in the backseat - we have a maxi cosi emme 360, the largest car seat on the market and there’s still tons of room. Also, an unexpected win: our daughter used to HATE the car. Once we bought this truck, she loved it! We realized it’s because the backseat is so dark (granted, we do have tinted windows, but it’s still darker than our other car with a similar tint!). Overall, an excellent vehicle. Oh! One last thing - I was initially afraid to drive a truck. I thought that my husband would mostly drive it, but this truck is so easy to maneuver. It feels like driving a regular car or midsize SUV unless you’re in a super tight parking garage or something. Also our particular model has excellent cameras that help a ton with parking.

We’ve enjoyed having this truck for our family. It drives well, is fairly comfortable for a truck, and the interior and exterior are sharp looking. We unfortunately did have to replace the transmission when it hit 150,000 miles, so it may not be the most dependable. Otherwise, we have liked owning and driving it!

I love my F150 for three kids! There is so much room and it is very comfortable. We currently have one rear facing, one backless booster, and one high back booster but had an infant seat and 2 front facing car seats at one point - no issues! The only issue is carting groceries but I have a bin in my truck bed to make that easier. I thought it would be difficult to adjust to the size but now I love it. I feel so safe. The 360 camera makes it so easy to park and back in to spots. Highly recommend being a truck mom!

The F-150 is the ultimate do it all vehicle for a family! This truck actually served as our family vehicle for several years until Mom got an upgrade! Pros: SPACE the back seat is huge and easily accommodated rear facing car seats with tall driver and passenger in the front row. There is plenty of room for 3 car seats, or in our case 2 car seats and room for Grandmas to ride with us. We love having a truck bed to haul around our wonderfold wagon, plus luggage on those long weekend trips. I feel so safe on the highway in this truck. Cons: the seats are not the MOST comfortable, but they are definitely doable, just don’t expect luxury. The size can make it hard to park in tight spaces, but that’s not a deal breaker. Overall, this truck is a great fit for a family who also need so do some hauling.

This car is underrated for moms! It is so roomy in the back, I can easily fit my 3 kids with big car seats + my yellow lab at times comfortably in front of the kids on the floor. I’m 5’8” and my husband is 6’3” and we can have our seats wherever is comfortable and the kids still have plenty of room. I love having a pickup (short bed) to put Costco hauls, strollers, bikes, etc and it keeps the cab of my car clean!

We love our 2023 Ford F-150! 5 stars all around! Highly impressed by how much room the F-150 has! We take a lot of road trips towing a trailer and the tow capacity is great! Fits our family of 4 so nicely with room to spare! Highly recommend!

My husband owned a 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor for about 3 years. Fitting our 3 kids in car seats/boosters was no problem… plenty of space in the 2nd row. However, beware if you are considering purchasing and have kids in car seats. This model/year has inflatable seat belts in the outboard seats in the 2nd row, which severely limits your options when it comes to car seats. It’s also very hard to get this kind of seatbelt to tighten and lock properly for car seat installation. Otherwise it was great to drive. He had an aftermarket infotainment system in his that didn’t work well, hence the low score on technology.

The 2023 F-150 SuperCrew is basically a big family sedan with a bed stuck on the back. That second row is the real reason to get one if you've got kids. Tons of legroom, easy to climb in and out, and the seats fold up if you need to throw bags or whatever behind the fronts. My kids can stretch out, no complaints on long drives, and it doesn't feel cramped like some of the midsize stuff. Drives fine for what it is. Quiet enough on the highway, plenty of power depending on the engine, and it handles daily commuting without being a complete pig. The ride's decent empty, which is how I run it most of the time. The truck bed, though? Almost never use it. Once in a while for a Home Depot run or hauling some junk, but day to day it's just dead space that makes the whole thing longer and harder to park. If I didn't care about the room in back I'd just grab an SUV and call it a day. Still a solid truck if you actually need one, but for pure family duty the bed feels like an afterthought.

This is my husbands truck. We currently have a 360 rotating car seat installed for our son and have baby #2 on the way. The room in the F150 is amazing. This is great for trips, vacations and just loading up for the day or a Costco run. We can fit so much in the back seat, the floor space is great for diaper changes or clothes changes. We have gone on numerous road trips and having all of the room is great. I don't mind driving it either. I like feeling so high up and I feel safe. The back seat can be somewhat comfy for adults, not the most comfortable since you cannot recline or change the seat position. We usually fit everything we need inside the cab and then use the uncovered bed for strollers and put our suitcases in bags in case it rains.

We love our pick up truck! Putting three car seats across the bench was a DREAM. It feels like any combo would work since the back is so big. We have had a few recalls that ford has taken care of quickly and effectively. However our rims had to be replaced because the factory rims were pitting the tires out, and that was not a recall so we had to pay out of pocket for that. Additionally, as this truck is a little older, we don’t have Apple CarPlay in it and that’s…. Tough. We aren’t looking for a new car as this is my husband’s daily driver and he’s never had CarPlay, but it would definitely be a deal breaker for me. We will for sure replace this with another F-150 when the time comes.

My dad owns this vehicle and very often has 1 or 2 carseats in and out of his bench seat. We love the bench on this vehicle, we've had no issues installing the Evenflo Revolve 360 in any seat in his car. The Evenflo is also wicked easy to install and I never feel like my parents will struggle installing with any confusion!

We owned a 2020 F-150 Supercrew for 3 years. Our eldest child was 6 months old when we got it. It was a great family car for one child and two dogs that we hauled around frequently. We loved how spacious the back seat is, especially for car seats. We decided to switch to an Expedition MAX when our second child was 8 months old because we wanted the flexibility of more seating and interior cargo space. Highly recommend a 2020 F-150 for small families!

The F-150 functioned well for our family with 3 kids in carseats. We had to sell it when our 4th child was born. It fits 3 across with ease and has plenty of leg room to allow parents to get in and out of the second row to buckle seatbelts. It is quite high up so sometimes lifting an infant seat into the back can be difficult as the baby gets heavier. The technology in this car was quite basic and we did have intermittent issues with CarPlay not functioning correctly but this was only on occasion and it could often be re-set by re-starting the car. It towed our 27 ft camper with ease but it definitely rides like a truck, high and bouncy.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how functional the Lightning has been for our family. My husband can throw stuff in the bed, pull our small trailer, and do all of the truck things while groceries and odds and ends are safely tucked away in the frunk. The energy costs are significantly cheaper than paying for gas. Ours has an extended range battery, which is absolutely necessary in my opinion. I was skeptical of the purchase, but it has served every purpose we needed it for.

Spacious and great for 2-3 car seats. Powerboost hybrid has good gas mileage for a truck (equivalent to my Honda Pilot)

The F-150 is very spacious and easily fits our one child (4 years old FF car seat) and two large dogs with either the bench flipped or on the seat with a hammock-type cover. The entertainment system is user friendly and the physical buttons and knobs make is very easy to use.

This has been a great family vehicle. Purchased when we had two children in car seats and now as a family with three children. We have a super crew cab (I think that’s what it’s called), and it is incredibly spacious even with three car seats across. My husband added a truck bed cover, per my request, and it has been a good addition. I don’t love to load groceries into it, but for every day driving, dropping off kids, and road trips it is comfortable, easy to get in/out of, has good visibility, and the kids have plenty of room. It has also been extremely reliable.

F150 Lightning - standard range. We love this truck! Love having an EV for everyday driving around town, and for transporting things. The front trunk is a bonus - even more storage than a typical truck! The second row is so spacious, as is the front row. No complaints!

This is my husband’s primary car. We have owned this car for 6 years and have gone from 1 to 4 kids and while we all can’t fit in it anymore it still serves us well. The backseat has a lot of space. We have 2 Graco Extend2fits and have kept our kids rear facing until the age of 4. We have a Graco tranzition and have recently converted to a booster, which we pull out and store for when we need to put in our infant Graco GoMax (no base) the truck allows for a lot of flexibility car seat wise. And as an adult (5’8) I can ride comfortably in the back. There are plenty of cup holders and a deep center console storage. The front seat is average. Good leg room and comfortable ride. The infotainment is good, although our Apple car play stopped working with the newest iPhone however we did buy a wireless adapter. We plan to keep this truck until it dies and have had no issues as we have kept up on our scheduled maintenance. Definitely very family friendly!

This is my husband's main car. We have the powerboost (hybrid) version. We LOVE this truck. What a great family truck. Interior is spacious & comfortable. Easily fit 2 car seats with room for another passenger in middle seat. We usually take the truck on trips because it gets just as good if not better gas mileage than my Atlas. Such a comfortable ride & can fit a ton in the bed (with a cover). We are almost 5 years in at this point, and just had our first "major" repair (~1k). My husband says he would easily drive it 5+ more years. Tech can be glitchy at times but what car isn't these days? I'm having trouble thinking of many cons. We definitely recommend this truck as a great family vehicle option! Would repurchase in a heart beat.

The F150 excels at 3 car seats across the back seat. Plenty of legroom! Ours is a hybrid, but what that really means is a power boost for acceleration, towing, hills.

I loved driving my husband’s truck when we only had 3 kids. Unfortunately we didn’t all fit once we had another baby but it was so roomy for us even with 2 rear facing seats for 2 very tall adults. I preferred taking this vehicle over our Explorer for road trips. The second row has so much more room and I was able to comfortably sit between the two car seats (when we only had two kids) if needed. Super easy to fit three across once we had our third baby. Would definitely recommend this car for families with 3 or less kids!

I love my truck! I drive it everyday, it gets 18 miles per gallon in city/highway miles. I can get 21mpg if freeway driving only. My truck has the extended gas tank so it’s painful to fill up, but nice that I don’t have to go too often. Was great for road trips. My daughter is 13, and still uses a booster in the front, but can sit in the back without one. The back seat is so roomy! Fits 3 adults very comfortably. Back seat even has seat heaters My only complaint is I really need a tanneau cover or camper shell. Costco trips are hard with trying to fit everything in the cab. But the seats fold nicely and the rubber mats prevent stains. The tech is AMAZING! I love Bluecruise- it works VERY well, although it’s a bit too sensitive and requires your eyes always forward. (It even warns me when I look the instrument panel that I need to “keep my eyes on the road”. Sometimes I think it can’t see through my glasses and warnings go off too quickly. Overall I love my truck, I’ve had it 4 years. Has a very quiet drive and is very comfortable, the road noise is noticeably lower in my truck then other trucks I’ve driven. Interior leather is great and has held up very well to pets.
