We love our BMW X5 with our 2 little toddlers! We actually got the plug in hybrid version and it gets us 25-30 miles in electric charge which is great for driving short distances in just all electric mode. I do wish the second row was a little bigger as we do have to move our driver & passenger seats forward to rotate our rotating car seats. The trunk space and the split tailgate is amazing! It fits our double stroller or wagon without issues. I would recommend getting the maintenance package and/or extended warranty when purchasing a BMW as the maintenance and repairs are expensive.

Great car for our family of 2! So cute and fun to drive. Plenty of room for luggage for road trips. My daughter is about to turn 5 and still plenty of room for her rear facing car seat. The fancy feature I can’t live without is the 360 camera for parking!

This car is fantastic. Drives like a sports car. Has great technology. The seats are very comfortable, especially with the massage seat package. Front seats feel a tad snug, but very spacious 2nd row, with no third row on this model. Trunk space is large and split tailgate is great. With 1 kid I feel a 2-row SUV is much better than a 3-row. My advice/downfall for a luxury brand SUV is to be prepared to pay a lot for maintenance and service of the car.

this is my mom car after all my kids were done being "little" and I knew I was still driving people around but they were not super messy. it handles so well, very reliable, and just enough 'fancy' to feel like I have earned it after all these years of driving kids a round! love the split tailgate. however, there is no 3rd row. we didn't need it. there was no option in my reviews to not include that

Love the drive of a BMW! The X5 is no exception. It's fun, it's sophisticated, it is perfectly fine if you don't have a rear facing car seat and are not tall - ha! We fall into both of those categories so it wasn't our pick but it would absolutely be at the top of my list if I had kids not in car seats. Tech is great, sound system is chefs kiss. Premium gas required just FYI!

I wanted a high performance car that my family would also be comfortable in. As a mom of two teenagers them being comfortable in the back seat was important. Lots of leg room, plenty of plug-ins for tech and room enough for them to be comfy on long trips. Cargo space is plenty big also. Love the hands free lift and split lift gate. Overall favorite car I've ever had!

I leased this car since 2024 and absolutely love it. It’s perfect for my family of 2 young kids in car seats/boosters. It’s a powerful performance car, so it’s fun to drive, plus it holds everything we need. The trunk is sizable and the split tailgate is hands down one of my favorite features. I’ve never had an issue with this car and considering buying it once my leasing term is up.

My extended family owns this car and I have driven it multiple times while visiting them. While it is a comfortable ride it has had SO many expensive problems in their short time of ownership. It does fit adults and kids well so I would suggest it as a CPO or if you can get a very good warranty on it
