Drives a 2026 Kia Carnival

09/14/2026

After buying the Nissan Pathfinder and thinking it would be our family car, when we got pregnant with our third, it was clear that wouldn’t be an option. We got the Kia Carnival and have LOVED it. It works perfectly for our family of 5, with room to flex for more if needed. Adults fit comfortably in the back to help with kids (we have a car sick kiddo), and it never feels crammed. We got the gas over the hybrid because they do drive very differently, and we were nervous the braking on the hybrid would make our daughter sick. The gas mileage is comparable to our Pathfinder, so no loss there. The most annoying part (in my opinion) is the switching of profiles. It takes forever to load, so makes it harder to hop in and go once the kids are loaded because you have to wait for everything to switch over and load before I can set my seat back to the memory settings.

If this was in our budget, I’d definitely have this on my radar. So cute and love the hybrid option!
